It looks like there are staff and personnel changes happening within the Google AdWords support team. Specifically the folks that are managing the social media accounts. Google said on Twitter they are "currently making changes to our social support" and that you can "expect delays" to your answers, but they will get back to your questions over time.
Here is the tweet:
Hi everyone, we're currently making changes to our social support so that we can better assist you. During this time, please expect delays; however, weâll answer your questions as soon as possible.— Google AdWords (@adwords) January 3, 2018
So if you reach out to Google AdWords on social media, do not expect lightening fast responses.
