Search Buzz Video Recap: Google Blog Bribes, AJAX, Snippets, Holiday Decorations & 14th Anniversary

This week in search, I posted our monthly Google webmaster report, make sure to check it out. Google responded to the blog bribes story, but to all of us, there is nothing new there. Google said they will stop crawling the old AJAX crawl schema in the second quarter of 2018. Google has extended their search results snippets to a maximum of 320 characters. Google added new features and content to the featured snippets. Google is testing a best answer carousel feature in search Google is testing a notable moments feature in the knowledge cards. Google said AMP read more links to mobile read more links should be okay. Google wants to know more about how you want to use voice query data in Search Console. Google local question and answer is live on desktop. Google is testing a mobile search interface with less results. Google launched the hotel price slider. Google now supports audiobook schema I think. Google√Ęs holiday decorations for Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanzaa are now live. We honored Lisa Barone, Rand Fishkin, Barry Adams, Kim Krause Berg and Ammon Johns this week in our community. Finally, it was the 14th year anniversary of the Search Engine Roundtable.
